The Mulberry never disappoint me, another great food experience this time for my partner birthday. Did a surprise with a cake, service helped in every step, really recommended ! Best place in Thetford :)

Loved the food 👌🏻
Started my dinner with the Oyster mushroom, leek and potato soup, followed by roast rump of suffolk lamb and the delicious brioche white chocolate pudding with caramel sauce 😍
The service was great, they treated us well and loved the ambience. Great place for quality dinner.

Had a lovely cosy midweek evening meal at the Mulberry, host Karen was friendly and warm. We were blown away by the lovely food which was fresh, elegant and well perfectly portioned. So pleased to ‘discover’ this place and will be back!

We had dinner here on Saturday 19th October. We have been meaning to try a meal here for a while, not disappointed. The food was excellent, crab cakes, goats cheese croquettes as starters, lamb, fennel and Gorgonzola tart as mains. We shared a panacotta, then shared a cheeseboard. Every dish was great. The welcome and service was perfect, very friendly and attentive but not too much. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

We were on our way to Norfolk on Thursday 26th September. We left home near Basingstoke around 3 pm and by 8 pm we had got as far as Thetford. The rain was torrential, water lying everywhere and the traffic was the worst we had known. We were tired and hungry. Through the dark and the rain my husband spotted The Mulberry but we were not sure it was open. We fell through the door - a soggy mess. Karen’s warm welcome blew us away and although the kitchen had been wiped down she and the chef were happy for us to eat. So kind! We were so relieved. We had really fallen on our feet - the lamb and steak were delicious as was my big glass of Malbec. We left with faith restored in human nature - happy and full to continue our journey to Wells.

We visited again after previous great visits and this was again outstanding
Warmly welcomed by 2 ladies then Karen the owner upon arrival
We now choose to sit in the Dining Room rather than the orangery purely as we find it more intimate but the orangery is also very nice
A lovely touch of a little Prosecco as soon as seated.
The also some home made bread and oil and balsamic vinegar
Onto the starters a wide choice and between us we had goats cheese and ham croquettes and crab and crown mushroom cake accompanied with prawns
The mains again offered much to choose from and we both had venison loin cooked to personal preference and accompanied by fresh vegetables
We both had room for dessert and creme brûlée and cheesecake won the day
It was great food with a lovely ambience, setting and building and superb customer service by all of the staff
The menu does change but we will be back for this one as still more to try

We had a lovely dinner here over the weekend. Well looked after, quick service and amazing food.
I had the octopus salad and seafood orecchiette. Menu is seasonal and based on local produce.

I had never been to this restaurant in the 12 years of living in the area. Can now say BIG MISTAKE.
Couldn't fault the 3 courses we ate and the drink options good as well
We did ask if the menu changed, and we were happy to hear it does every 6 to 8 weeks
Can happily say we will be back on a regular basis

Absolutely perfect place, the food is amazing and the staff are fantastic. I had only recently complained to my wife that I hadn't found a place that does a good pork chop in over a decade, I saw it on the menu and was blown away, pork chop with peaches and gorgonzola was an absolute revelation. If you are visiting the area or staying at centre parks take the time out to go and visit this place you won't be dissapointed.

My partner and I cane for dinner here on July 16th. I booked us in the week before and contacted the manager to make sure our dietary requirements could be catered for. Karen, the manager, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. When we arrived, we were seated immediately and given a choice of table. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and relaxing and the background music was at a nice, unobtrusive volume and not overpowering like so many places have these days. We were given a complimentary half-glass of Prosecco and some warm bread and oils, which was a lovely touch. Our food was brought to us after only around 10 minutes, which was great, and it was absolutely delicious. We had the mushroom risotto and I had an Eton mess for dessert, which was also scrumptious. There was a great choice of wines available and we were not charged for the water we had alongside our main drinks. There was a really good, friendly atmosphere in the restaurant and I loved that the tables were not all squashed in too close to each other, like in some restaurants. If ever we are staying in the area again (we were on holiday from Nottingham), this will undoubtedly be the first place I will choose to book for dinner again. Thanks for a fantastic meal and your wonderful hospitality!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. My partner and I went there for dinner and a week later booked my birthday there for 6 of us. The menu was to die for, all locally sourced produce and seasonal. The staff were friendly and inviting. I had the seafood medley for my main and it was perfectly cooked...big portions , I could not fault it! If the creme brulee is on the menu then it is a must order! I can't wait to go back!

I booked over the phone, helpful and polite, called me back immediately after leaving a message, emailed the menu to me a week before attending, I called to let them know what we were having.
On arrival very polite and efficient, took us to our table immediately, within a few minutes had water, olive oil and bread delivered to our table.
The main meal was ready after about 10 minutes because I pre ordered, the chicken and potatoes were delicious, my wife's lamb was cooked to perfection and the taste was amazing.
Excellent tiramisu and apple toffee crumble.
I look forward to returning soon, all staff very friendly and service is spot on.
Very convenient for the Guildhall and theatre too.

Lovely family owned and run restaurant, the best in Thetford.
You get a complimentary small Prosecco on arrival following by complimentary warm bread with Balsamic vinegar and Olive oill.
All the food is freshly prepared to order and table orders are done one at a time with great care.

Sincerely 5 stars all around. Had our first dinner here on Valentine’s day and thanks to the staff it was more than lovely! The food was flavorful, cooked to perfection and of a selection I haven’t seen in the area which made it more fun and adventurous! I had reached out to the staff as well to help with a surprise I had for the occasion and they helped make this once of a lifetime moment so special for us. Price is very reasonable for the quality of dishes/drinks and we will be back again.

Everytime when we eat at Mulberry Thetford they excell themselves. We go there over 20 years for birthdays, anniversary valentine's day and Christmas. Will not go to any other place. Karin and her staff let you feel so welcome. It is so cosy there.
